Digital Account Deletion Request

TowneBank values your privacy and is committed to ensuring our member’s privacy and data safety. In accordance with Google Play Store and Apple Store requirements, TowneBank allows our members to request the removal of their app accounts and any associated data. If you wish to delete your online banking account (the account you use to log in to our online banking system and our mobile app), please complete the form below. 

Note: This request does not close your TowneBank account. If you wish to close your account, please contact your nearest TowneBank office. 

Here's What to Expect

By submitting the form below, your request will be sent to our Digital Services Team. Once received and validated, TowneBank will take steps to securely remove your data from our digital banking system.

As a Financial Institution, we may be required to keep certain information in accordance with our Retention Policy for security purposes, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance. Examples of information we are required to keep include, but are not limited to, transaction history and access information. We will hold your information in accordance with our Record Retention Policy. However, we may need to hold information beyond these retention periods due to regulatory requirements or in response to a regulatory audit, investigation, or other legal matter. These requirements also apply to our third-party service providers.

Please note that when your account is deleted after you submit this form:

  • You will no longer be able to log in to online banking or the TowneBank mobile app.
  • You will not be able to see electronic copies of past account documents. If you have opted in to receiving electronic documents, your preferences will be changed to receiving paper documents.
  • Any activity you previously set up within online banking or our mobile app will be disabled and/or deleted. This includes account alerts, Bill Pay payments and payee information, and transfers to other people or accounts, as well as access to any history for any of these services.
  • Your TowneBank financial accounts and loans will remain open and unaffected. This form is only used for deleting your online banking account.
