I've gone inside to make deposits and they've never asked me for ID, social or job title. I went through the drive thru today and they wanted my ID, social and job title. It was a deposit. I wasn't trying to withdrawal anything. Is this normal?

Bankers at the drive-thru often will ask for additional identification and verification information since it is more difficult to see a full face if the person is not directly in front of them. It may also depend on whether you had account deposit slips with you or were asking to fill out blank items.

This was actually my first experience going inside the bank. I usually use the drive thru or the atm. It was a Great experience getting to actually to speak with someone face to face instead of a computer screen. The teller was outstanding. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring for my first time. I love when tellers care about people time.
