Get information about when you'll receive your new TowneBank debit or credit card.

Debit Card Changes

You will continue to use your Village Bank credit and debit card until Sunday, June 8. You should be able to make ATM withdrawals and Debit Card purchases as normal; however, over the weekend of June 6-8, balance information at the ATMs may not be available. Please note that daily limits from June 6-8 are $510.00 for ATM withdrawals and $1,500.00 for point-of-sale purchases.

You will receive your NEW TowneBank Debit Card as early as May 29. Please wait to activate it until Monday, June 9.

Some ATMs will experience downtime leading up to June 8 due to maintenance. The schedule is outlined below. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Your new TowneBank Debit Card will have the same PIN (personal identification number) as the card it is replacing.
tap and go
TowneBank debit cards feature contactless or 'tap and go' payment features. You can also add these cards to your mobile wallet.

uChoose Rewards Program Updatevillage bank debit card

The uChoose Rewards program will be available until April 30, 2025, after which points will no longer accrue for Village Bank debit card holders. You will have until June 6, 2025, to redeem your accrued points on the uChoose Rewards website.

ATM Updates

Leading up to the weekend of June 8, we will conduct ATM maintenance to install new machines at Village Bank locations which will result in windows of downtime during normal operating hours. There are two locations that will have two days of ATM unavailability. Please make note of the dates below. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will cause but please know that our branches will be open during these maintenance windows and we hope that you will come in so we can personally serve you. 

  • May 20 - Clover Hill (Install pre-work)
  • May 22 - Midlothian Turnpike (install pre-work)
  • May 27 - Sliding Hill 
  • May 28 - Mechanicsville
  • May 29 - Scott's Addition
  • May 30 - Chesterfield Towne Center
  • June 2 - Clover Hill (final installation)
  • June 3 - Forest Office Park
  • June 4 - Midlothian Turnpike (final installation)
  • June 5 - Powhatan 

Personal and Business Credit Cards

TowneBank credit cards will be issued to current personal and business credit card accountholders through Elan Financial Services in August. You can continue to use your Village Bank credit card as usual until you receive a replacement card.
