Another Successful TowneBank Foundation Golf Tournament
Billy Foster, president & CEO; tournament co-chairs Andy Rivenbark and John Fruit; and Bob Aston, executive chairman (l. to r.) celebrate another record-setting TowneBank Foundation Golf Tournament. It was a beautiful day in May when golfers gathered at the TowneBank headquarters in Suffolk before hitting the links at the Riverfront Golf Club. A record-setting $212,000 was raised to support the TowneBank Foundation, which brings the grand fundraising total to over $2 million since the first golf outing in 2001. These funds will be dispersed to local charities by the TowneBank Foundation. The Foundation provides grants and donations to over two hundred organizations each year.
