Greenville Community Celebrates the Grand Opening of TowneBank Financial Center

Bear celebrate the grand opening of the new Greenville office.On a warm night in late February, over 450 guests gathered to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the new TowneBank Financial Center. Mayor P.J. Connelly and Trent McGee of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce addressed the audience and shared warm remarks about TowneBank’s dedication to the Greenville community. TowneBank Greenville president Greg Steele introduced his team and then welcomed Towne Insurance regional president Jim Clement and TowneBank executive chairman Bob Aston to make remarks. TowneBank president and CEO Billy Foster and North Carolina regional president Matt Davis joined for the ribbon cutting, flanked by mascots Town E. Bear and Petey the Pirate.

In keeping with the tradition of giving back, TowneBank presented a charitable donation to Community Crossroads Center, which serves the homeless and those at risk of homelessness by providing safe housing and assisting them in developing a long-term plan that leads to self-sufficiency. This gift will support its emergency homeless shelter.
