Summertime Music at Greenville Concert on the Common
SHARE
Greenville was hopping over the summer with six free concerts at the open-air Greenville Toyota Amphitheater. Concerts began on May 1 and ran through July featuring a variety of bands and music including On the Border, the Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band; The Band of Oz; Landslide, a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band; The Embers; and Tuesday’s Gone, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. The Motown Legacy Revue had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
The concerts were free and food trucks were on site with delicious offerings. Plus, the Junior League of Greenville was serving beer and wine from their tent as a fundraiser for their programs.
Located on East 1st Street by the Tar River, the Town Common is Greenville’s central park. It features 21 acres of open green space next to the Uptown Greenville District. The Town Common is connected to the Tar River Greenway by paved walkways, the Town Creek Bridge, and a 1,500-foot river walk.
The river serves as a beautiful backdrop for the Greenville Toyota Amphitheater, where the community comes together to relax and enjoy a variety of events including live music during Sunday in the Park and the Concert on the Common. TowneBank is honored to support Concert on the Common. We look forward to seeing you next summer!
