TowneBank Names Robin Cooke President of Retail Banking

TowneBank is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Cooke as president of retail banking.

In this new role, Cooke will have executive oversight and leadership over TowneBank branch offices to ensure that members receive consistent and exquisite member service across all regions. She will also enhance the bank’s overall retail strategy, overseeing products and services and ensuring a best-in-class member experience at every interaction.  

A graduate of Old Dominion University and a founding employee of TowneBank, Cooke most recently served as president of the bank’s Portsmouth/Suffolk region. Active in the community, she serves on the boards of the Bon Secours Hampton Roads Foundation and ACCESS College Foundation. She has been recognized on the 2021 Inside Business Women in Business list.

Regarding Cooke’s contributions to the Towne family, Chief Experience Officer Dawn Glynn shared, “Robin has been part of our family since day one.
