TowneBank has announced the promotion of Yvonne T. Allmond to executive vice president and community financial engagement officer. In this new role, Allmond will further meet the credit needs of the community with an emphasis on the objectives of the Community Reinvestment Act. Allmond has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has been a member of the Towne Family for 14 years. She is a graduate of the George Washington University and the Hampton Roads Civic Leadership Institute. She serves our local community as a member of many boards including the ODU Board of Visitors, the Norfolk State University Foundation Board, the Chrysler Museum Board of Trustees, the NATO Board, and is former chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the VHDA. Allmond also regularly conducts credit seminars and business financing seminars for many local churches and community groups, sharing the wealth of financial knowledge accumulated throughout her career.
