TowneBank Celebrates Opening of North Ridge Financial Center
TowneBank celebrated the grand opening of its 50th banking center, located on Falls of Neuse Road in the North Ridge area of Raleigh, at an event on January 25, 2024.An audience of over 150 people enjoyed remarks from Brian Reid, president of TowneBank Triangle; Matt Davis, president and regional banking director for TowneBank in North Carolina; Scot McAlexander, TowneBank market executive for North Ridge; Doug Russell, president and CEO of Towne Insurance; and North Carolina Bankers Association president and CEO Peter Gwaltney.
Regarding the expansion, Brian Reid said, “We are thrilled to bring an added focus on delivering financial services to the North Raleigh community. TowneBank was built on the values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. We are eager to serve the people and businesses in this community with these values at the forefront of what we do every day.
TowneBank completed the two-story, 15,000-square-foot building this fall after purchasing the site in 2020. The first floor houses a full-service banking center with private, commercial, and retail bankers, as well as an office for a mortgage lender. Towne Insurance has moved its offices to the second floor, where a team of 21 provides risk advisory and benefits consultant services. Members of our local wealth management team are also onsite.
TowneBank is known for its high-touch banking services, with financial professionals available and accessible to businesses and individuals when and where they are needed. Branch manager Brittany Morgan joined TowneBank in 2018 and helped to open the flagship location in Greenville, NC. Kati Sessoms joined the Towne family as senior vice president and private banker at North Ridge.
TowneBank’s commitment to the community extends beyond the newly constructed building and grounds and hiring of local professionals. In keeping with the bank’s tradition of giving back, TowneBank presented charitable donations to two local organizations. Recipients were non-profit youth soccer organization North Carolina FC Youth and North Raleigh Ministries, which equips families and individuals in crisis with the resources and skills they need to achieve stability.
