TowneBank Receives Third Consecutive Greenwich Excellence Awards

March 30, 2010

Suffolk, Va.– For the third consecutive time, TowneBank has received honors from Greenwich Associates, a prestigious, independent financial consulting and research firm. TowneBank was recognized for excellence in serving the small business market, winning two awards in the southern region – Overall Satisfaction and Overall Satisfaction in Treasury Management.

Across the country, 17,000 businesses participated in this annual survey. To benchmark the quality of banking products and services in the marketplace, Greenwich Associates asks company decision-makers to evaluate each of the banks they use in a variety of categories. The results of this research are used to determine the winners of the Greenwich Small Business Banking Excellence Awards.
Out of the 750 banks evaluated, just 43 were recognized as having distinctive quality. “It is certainly an honor to be recognized with the Greenwich Awards,” said TowneBank chairman and CEO, Bob Aston. “We have a keen desire to serve the financial needs of our members at the highest level possible, and this survey, conducted by an impartial third-party, shows what an outstanding job our team is doing.”
