Computer Security Resource Center:
The National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST), the Small Business Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have entered into a co-sponsorship agreement to conduct training and provide resources on cyber security for business owners. Together, these agencies have formed an online computer security resource center featuring videos, presentations and exercises to help educate business owners on cyber threats and actionable steps to protect your electronic assets.

Small Business Development Center:
The SBDC (Small Business Development Center) is another source for helping both new and existing small businesses put together a business plan, sharpen management skills, assist in networking, and much more. The SBDC is sponsored by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Thomas Nelson Community College, and is in partnership with the SBA. The VSBFA (Virginia Small Business Finance Authority) is another excellent resource for Virginia's small businesses. The VEDP (Virginia Economic Development Partnership) is a state organization that can help your business grow by introducing you to international trade, finding alternative financing resources, and providing customized research.
